ROCK CLIMBING LETTERE

Since centuries Lettere amazes locals and tourists alike through its intense green, the beauty of its panorama, mild climate as well as through its culinary delicacies and typical products. Highly elevated on a Hill in the Lattari mountains, Lettere is situated between the Gulf of Salerno and Naples. Wherever you look, you will be amazed by the succulent green of the olive trees, chestnut trees, alders, hornbeam, ash, many pergolas and fruit trees. Spring waters and mini waterfalls lead the valley down to Gragnano.

Lettere can be easily reached both from Naples and Salerno. Although the town is not far from the main traffic arteries of Campania, the feeling of solitude and peace of this paradise stay unaffected. The access to the hiking path is right next to the castle of Lettere, a bastion of medieval architecture that is well worth a visit. The area, due to its position and breathtaking panorama, is also known for the many wedding receptions, primary source of income for the locals.
